- There are many important activities happening both inside and outside of maintaining a successful coffee shop, including primary and supportive activities. As the name suggests, primary activities are one deemed most important to a coffee shop, where it would not be able to function if there was a problem with the activity and secondary activities are viewed as activities assisting with focus of the strategy of the coffee shop.
